Wow Inspirations

Some of the must-watch inspirational videos of all times. If these aren't a wow factor, I don't know what is!

What if a mere handshake could break your bones?

If there's anybody who's known what bone fractures feel like, It's Sparsh Shah (PURHYTHM). He was born with 40 fractures, and is said to have had 85 more till date. 'Osteogenesis Imperfecta' is what they call it, a special medical condition that gives you weak and brittle bones.

But that is the last thing that comes to your mind when you listen to this twelve year old prodigy. Yes, prodigy, for this young man is a pro in composing and singing songs, can recite upto 250 digits of Pi, or even the 12 longest words in English language. Not done yet! He also speaks in four different accents, writes poetry and short stories, and even contributes as an ardent philanthropist.

Listen to Sparsh's cover of Eminem's "Not Afraid" and yeah, go WOW!

What would you have done if you were named the world's ugliest girl?

Lizzie Velasquez suffers from a syndrome so rare that it has no name. She has no body fat from head to toe, and can see only with one eye. She was bullied and insulted by strangers all over the world for what she looked like. But what she decided to do with her life is a lesson to every human being.

Today she is a renowned motivational speaker, an author of three books, and an inspiration to each one of us. If she can turn over her horrific life into one we all now look up to, can't we get over our own petty day-to-day complains? Watch Lizzie speak, and think for yourselves of what defines you.

We read about them everyday, so what right?

They come everyday. They come everywhere. The headlines in the newspapers, the snippets in the magazines, the articles online...come, read and go, not another thought, not another action. The printing machine doesn't stop, won't we ever stop too?

Kalki Koechlin presents her powerful poem, 'The Printing Machine', that will bring you to a standstill. A rhythmic satire against the media, here to make us stop and think.

If you had no arms and legs, would you still play football?

You may have heard of him already, the man with no arms and no legs, but with a spirit no soul can destroy. He can walk, he can swim, he can dance and play the drums, and yes he can play football too.

Watch Nick Vujicic interact with a gathering of school children, and I bet you can find no other limbless man on earth more cheerful and fun than him!
