K for Knowledge #AtoZChallenge

source: VectorStock

Laughing hysterically at the stories tossed back and forth in the group, we sat in a circle on the master bed. Slumber parties were meant for long stories. The tidbits of gossip at work, little-known histories of our fellow mates, the likes and dislikes of the circle...so on and so forth. But of course, there comes a point where we run out of things to talk about. Here's where the games begin. And pretty often, there is this one game which is always among the first choices.

Dumb charades.

Okay, here I say it. I hate the game. Not really because of us having to make faces and 'act' (although that also contributes to the dislike), but mainly because I do not have a good knowledge of movies. And around here, dumb charades is associated with movies almost always. No, I don't watch a lot of movies. I don't see my friends watching quite a lot of them either, but they seem to have seen quite a lot in the past. Sometimes I wonder what I did in my childhood. It surprises me how they remember all the movies they've watched too. Of the ones that I did watch, I can't seem to connect their names with the stories or even the actors.
