S for Sensitivity #AtoZChallenge

source: VectorStock

In the lone bed of a hostel room two floors above the ground lies a flat pillow. This poor pillow has been victim to much abuse by its owner. It has been squeezed, twisted, soaked with tears, brutally folded multiple times, and occasionally dropped on the dusty floor. On multiple occasions, it has also been surprisingly ignored. That was usually when its owner found insufficient space in the bed to have a breakdown and chose to sit on the floor instead.

One would think that the owner here is going through something devastating and is in dire need of help. But you would think otherwise if you knew her story. Well, that was the thing. She had no such story. Here are a few sources of her emotional episodes. The time when she was told that she wasn't well-dressed. The time someone asked if she had no friends. The time when her marks dipped lower. The time when she fought with a friend. The time when someone didn't agree with her. The time when her fears piled up out of nowhere. And the times with reasons forgotten.
